A major priority is helping people learn how to help themselves achieve a better standard of psycho-physical health. With Acupuncture, this could involve giving her patients Chinese medicine dietary advice, self-massage of acupoints and life-style advice. With Alexander Technique, the 'pupil' learns to apply their newly improved body-use to their daily activities to improve their performance at work and at play.
